You may have guessed, I quite like writing about Art History. What is awesome is that there are readers who have enjoyed my posts so much, they have got in touch to ask me to write a little something for them. Which I am only too happy to do, of course.
Now, I openly state that I have been paid to write some of the articles below BUT, and it should go without saying, everything is my own true and honest opinion.
Below is a list of my other articles – may it grow and blossom like a true Botticelli Primavera!
Local Gallery, International Collection – the remarkable history of the German Expressionist collection located in the New Walk Museum and Gallery, Leicester.
Exhibition in Focus – Vanessa Bell (1879 – 1961). Dulwich Picture Gallery yet again shines a light on an artist who has been hidden in the shadows for too long.
Flavours of Italy
Michelangelo and Sebastiano: Learning from the Master. Where’s the best place to learn how to paint, well – Italy of course!
Art History Abroad
I maintain and contribute to the blog at Art History Abroad – do head over and have a read about more wonderful Italian art and culture. You may well find yourself clicking through their website too – they run pretty special courses in Europe.
If you’d like me to write something for you, please don’t hesitate to get in touch!
